I was headed eastbound on I40 yesterday and saw the truck and flatbed parked at a truck stop, around Holbrook, AZ I believe. It appeared to be a standard gauge combine car, but hard to tell as I was going by on the opposite side but it sure caught my attention! The car had two windows opposite the rear platform door (similar to a DRGW business car) and was a combine as it had a side freight door about a third of the way down the side from the opposite end of the rear platform. In other words it looked like a typical combine, clerestory roof, except the car looked "fancier", possibly some type of reproduction for tourist use?? (Grand Canyon railway??) The car appeared to my eye to be painted a box car/tuscan color and possibly with some arched moldings around the windows and decorative striping but I can't be sure about that aspect of it due to the distance, sun angle and my ummm...speed. But it was something you don't see everyday!
