I think it's entirely possible. I've studied all of the pics I can find, and it definitely appears to have had at least two, possibly three, different plows. I even found one photo where there may have been a second one, numbered 09273, although it could have just been a blurry pic.

I've seen pics of a locomotive with a very similar, huge, plow mounted on the pilot. I'm assuming it was the same/similar one?
