Very true, Randy. There was a lot said about this caboose in an article of Narrow Gauge & Short Line Gazette from July/August 2014.
The trucks from the second pair given to the caboose I believe might've come from one of the NWP and Borate & Daggett flatcars, and the third pair were said to have come from ex-UV&P Coach #4 when it was scrapped in 1927 following the arrival of the Brills railcar #5. The side door was definetly added after it went to New Mexico, probably it hauled people or parcels inbetween the mine and the mill. Someone told me the caboose was metal plated to keep woodpeckers off of it! XD
