I know this is an old thread but I can shed a little more light on the trolley that currently stands in Victor. I ran across this post as I was researching the electric trolley system that went between Cripple Creek and Victor. This trolley has a sister car in Cripple Creek that is sitting in a storage lot on the north side of the grocery store, Venture Foods, near the edge of town on Teller 1. Both of these cars were shipped to Cripple Creek by long-time resident Maurice Woods from Portugal several years ago. I'm not sure what year exactly but at least 15 to 20 years ago. His hope was that the City of Cripple Creek would find the funds to restore them and re-build the electric trolley line up and down Bennett Ave. No one stepped up to pay for the project and one of the trolleys went to Victor where the exterior was painted to match the interurban scheme of the day and placed on display at the park. The other is still in a storage lot with several other odds and ends that Mr. Woods owns. Sadly, the one in Cripple Creek is in very bad condition with a lot of wood rot. These European cars are very different than the original cars that ran the interurban railway.
