Some of the earliest were the guys from the DRGW which included Amos, Jim Mayer, Steve Jackson, Felix Lucero and Jimmy Martinez. There were other in MOW as well, including Bob Huffman and John Martinez. Non DRGW guys included Larry Beam, Bernie Watts and myself (employee No. 12). Ray Loose, Jeff Johnson and your dad came along about 2-3 weeks after my hire date. Others jumped ship in Chama in late spring and included Russ Fischer, Mark Yeamans and Richard Braden. John Coker showed up sometime in the summer of 1981 as well.

Somewhere, Larry Beam has a 1981 or 1982 employee roster that he found and showed me a few years ago. Employees were numbered by who showed up first, which is the same number that they assigned to our company issued overalls.....so we could keep track after they came back from the laundry. winking smiley
