C&C caboose #1 is still at Laws and part of the equipment display.

It was always on the narrow gauge. Until about 1906-07 it would have been lettered "Carson & Colorado." Then until its retirement or 1912 (whichever came first) it would have been lettered for the SP subsidiary "Nevada & California." I am not sure when it was retired.
Dick Datin had acquired this body and the one of the one-time car SP1010 from Mina, Nevada, and moved them to Laws. The 1010 was later acquired by the Society for the Preservation of Carter Railroad Resources (SPCRR)
