Here are the snow fences on August 29, 1968:

p.s.  It sure looks like they've held up much better than the snow fences at Apache Crossing, as seen here on August 29, 1968:

I'm guessing that the fences at mp 326.3 lasted longer than the ones at Apache because the latter were quite close to a road that leads to several cabins - and ended up as charcoal and soot rather than rotting wood . . .     eye popping smiley
