Well it was yellow in 52 and again when I saw it in Denver in 59. Will have to look at "Denver & Rio Grande" again to see what it was in the movie. People think the locomotive was only painted yellow once. The details changed and I think it was either fully or partially repainted...just an opinion based on looking at tons of photos. Next article will be 223 and I will not have to worry about bumblebee paint.
