My dad (Mustang Lt. (jg), USN Retired) rode in the big Mars flying boats several times between the states and Hawaii during and after the end of WWII. He used to rave about them, how big and powerful they were yet how they rode like a limo. As much as he talked about them over the years I was surprised to learn there were so few of them made. Glad the final two are being well taken care of.
