The Galloping Goose Historical Society in Dolores has already rebuilt the depot and restored RGS Goose 5 to operating condition.
Their next project is an attempt to rebuilt the RGS line from Dolores to Mancos (approx), and use that to run their Goose.

Unfortunately, the website isn't completely current, and I didn't see much information on the ROW restoration there. Their printed newsletter is up-to-date, and includes an offer for a new video on Goose 5 and (I think) the restoration efforts. It's about $30 and helps support the track work.
