Folks,
The Tool Shed at Golden Museum seems to the the tourist sleeper with the clearest history and photos. And the survivor of several uses.

CRRM Annual #24 says D&RG #465 1889-1898 Tourist Sleeper, Colorado & Northwestern 6 1898-1909, Denver, Boulder & Western 20 1909-1919,

Western Union 298 1919-1933, D&RGW 0250 1933-1964

Arrived at Colorado Railroad Museum in April 1964. I would sure like to see it on a pair of freight car trucks at least.
