Thanks for the news. I hadn't heard this either. Where had he been living in recent years?

Dan Ranger was indeed a good guy and was willing to accommodate requests even if "Modeling Content" was involved.

I particularly remember and appreciate his cooperation with my need for detail photographs of #487 for Overland Models during the Winter of 1987. I'm sure both Bill White and Bill Lund remember that trip too.
