Mark - has the museum been able to determine why the 491 received a new fire box and 2nd course (and the thermic siphons)? was it something the grande was experimenting with or did something happen to the 1902 boiler?

Also - the work you and your team has done on the 491 is outstanding. It's amazing how in just a few short years the 491 went from a rusting display engine to the beauty she is today.
