Believe The Red Devil loaders were supplied by Ross & White Co., still in business but moved from the Chicago area. Cannot get any answer from them about past products/product lines.
R&W along with few other big contractors were major railroad industy support facility builders years ago.
I believe they (with the ohers) built many coal tipples (concrete, steel & wood), ash plants, sand towers, turn tables & transfer tables.
About the only one left is Whiting. Drop pits, turn tables, etc. and I believe they too have have moved from their long time address in Harvey, Ill. to new digs.
