A condensed history of D&RGW "C", from Herbert Danneman's "Rio Grande Narrow Gauge Varnish", aka Colorado Rail Annual 25;

Built 1882 as Business Car C

Rebuilt into mail & baggage car No. 118 (2nd) in 1906

Converted into B&B Bunk car 0118 in 1926

Retired and scrapped at Salida in 1955
