The location is Elk Creek in Clear Crek Canyon 24.29 rail miles from Denver, 4 miles below Fork's Creek, not Fork's Creek as per the photo Title linked by BCP.

I found that DPL photo( not Dave Grandt's) last year and posted it on the C&Sng Discussion [c-sng-discussion-forum.41377.n7.nabble.com]

Note at the bottom of the DPL link of Bruce that I posted a correction in the Comment box but they did not change the Title for some reason.

Nice new picture Dave, appreciate the posting.
