Wonderful video Russ.
The first scene shows an SP 2-10-2 going through Weed with empties to be delivered to Leaf, the Long-Bell connection, railroad East of town.
The 2-6-6-2 did not have a very long career there as she suffered a broken casting on one of the lp cylinders and was set aside. Long-Bell then acquired a really large Mike from WA, but she was so big that she turned rail wherever she went and is said to have never actually done much, if any revenue work
2-8-2 3296 was the bread and butter engine for many years. She was built for Minarets & Western in CA and got the SP number along with sister 3295, who stayed with the SP as a switch engine in Dunsmuir.
There were also 3 little Prairies and one got saved by Gene Autrey and is still around.
One more tidbit and this is regarding the mention of the machine at El Salto, Durango in Mexico. They were still using a wood-fired 70-3 Shay into the early 70s and also had a West Coast Special Heisler stored. Both may still be down there.
