I have seen photos of it under a tarp too . Also from the late 1960's until 1976 it was painter silver. In 1976 the railway restored it to its former glory. The car over the next few weeks will have it's pullman green paint redone , red roof repainted. As they say "Spruced up a bit" One of the gems of this car it retains 90% of it's as build leaded glass windows! If you are out in the Manitou Springs area June 30, August 25, September 8th or October 6th,2016 come visit and see the steamer and this car in operation on short runs up 1/8 to 1/4 mile up the railway.
