EBT - supposed scrapping of Mt. Union hoppers

I hope that the EBT does not go the way of the gooney bird. However, there are several instances where "preserved" artifacts would dissappear - first comes to mind in narrow gauge is the Last DSP&P Mason Bogie and more recent (not too recent) scrapping of one of the CB&Q steamers in Chicago.

With that thought in mind, I was wondering what it might take (probably a separate organisation from the C&TS) to preserve an EBT, a dozen of so EBT hoppers and a caboose or coach. I am talking about saving an EBT trainset for operation on the C&T occasionally.

I do not know if there would be room on the D&S but I would guess property for storage would be much less in Antonito than in Durango. I also expect it to be too costly for WP&Y.
