In theory, Nos. 250 and 251 should have been able to handle the infamous Palin Hill in their SVRy configuration as the steepest section between Escuintla and Palin was 3.5 percent. However rainy season weather and degree of curvature may have compromised their performance.

Cheers,
Jack
