Sounds like that interview was with Tommy O'Connell, the conductor on the last run. KRDO radio had one of their employees with a tape recorder ride the caboose on the last run. This trip was operated after the Rocky Mountain Railroad Club excursion and brought freight cars from Bull Hill to Colorado City.
