FWIW, I've been in the same situation since March 1, 2004 - unemployed and not able to land a job. I just turned 60 and the only retirement that survived the past 20-odd years (due to many reasons) is a $240 per month pension.

If you wish to talk back channel, give a shout. Maybe we can help each other out.
