Remember though that the tenders sometimes most associated as being with a locomotive are not always the only tender they had. tenders were also rebuilt when in operation.
The 319 had at least 4 tenders over the years: I thought I saw a picture of it on the F&CC with a flanged style tender. The Perry picture in Oct 1928 in Salida it has a winged tender with strap steel coal boards, by 1935 it had a much different winged tender, it looks like this tender with half of the Fireman's side patched along the bottom went with it to Durango and is pictured as late as 1942. In 1946 it is stored with the flange top tender that 315 retired with to the park as the Durango switching tender. In 1949 it has another winged tender with no patches that it was retired with.
318 had at least two flange style tenders before trading with #340 for the Ouray branch
315 had a winged tender for years in the 30s but a flange style by 1940, a winged tender in 46 and the flange Durango switcher tender
316 had at least 2 different ones.
Following tenders should be an Excedrin commercial !
