In 1954 when Santa Fe donated Prairie 1139 to Dodge City (Ford County), it was placed at Boot Hill. Recently the locomotive display has been relocated to next to the Station.
There are pictures of it located recently at both locations. 2008 at Boot Hill and 2015 at the Station.
