Number 168 appeared in "The Texas Rangers" with Fred McMurray, which was filmed on the Santa Fe Branch in 1935 and released in 1936.

My book "Hollywood's Railroads, Volume Three: Narrow Gauge Country" tells the story of 60+ movies and TV shows filmed on railroads in southern Colorado and northern New Mexico, including the Denver & Rio Grande Western, Rio Grande Southern, Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge, and Cumbres & Toltec Scenic.
