So funny that they’re turned onto their sides as they simply weren’t that durable. People think that the MB/GPW Willys/Ford Jeeps could do anything, but in fact they were seriously labor-intensive, fragile, and tempermental. They were only designed to last about 90 days in combat and were consuidered an expendable line item on a government budget. Willys had no designs on them lasting for decades without restoriations, yet many are exactly doing just that.
I’ve been really slack with mine, having not even fired it up all winter but I plan on charging the battery and getting it ready for an oil change in the next month or so at the latest (or the first good break in the weather on a weekend when I have no other plans).
