Talk about opening old wounds. I had a 1950's trailer called a Rollo Home just to the left of coach 0252 past the pine tree in the picture for fifteen years. Had a chance to buy the leased property when the cabin owners formed an association and bought the land around the lake from the power company. Passed the opportunity up. Stupid!
RGS coach 0252 was owned by Carl Schaefers family at one time (Carl of Ridgway RR Museum and RGS Goose 1 creator) One of the best mountain views in the state You can't go home again.
