Hi Jim!
I can confirm what you say about MP330 - in a video made from old movies ('40's? '50's?) the milepost is well down the bank almost in the wetland. I guess maybe it was there to be clear of snow plowing with the Jordan's wings. I believe there was a standard distance-from-track, but I don't know what it was, except that it was pretty far back. Jim, do the documents we got from the CRM show that? 330 may well have been at that standard distance when it was so far down the bank.
