My sister thinks around the time of his wedding. Maybe somewhere from 1900- 1902. He died in 1952.
I think it's amazing that he was 69 at the time of the last run of the Chili Line. Particularly as someone posted a picture of him (possibly, couldn't see his face) on top of a car directing something.
That's not old these days, but for 1941 he seems pretty spry.
