SUPER, Ed -

THANK YOU for posting the link!!   I caught part of that movie at the Old Spaghetti Factory in Portland while waiting to be seated for dinner over 40 years ago (see [ngdiscussion.net]), and have never forgotten that priceless scene where the engineer pulls off the tall smokestack and carries it over the hill while the train runs through the tunnel.  I've always wondered what the name of the film was so I could try to find it and see the whole thing.  I must have been seated before the end, as I didn't remember the other great scene of the train crossing the lake using logs as pontoons. It looks like someone went to a lot of effort to restore the movie - do you know where it was filmed?

p.s.  The only actor given credit at the beginning is Al St. John - whom I believe was the engineer.  IIRC, he was still acting in movies 25 or 30 years later - 'B' westerns at least - as Al 'Fuzzy' St. John, in roles similar to those of Gabby Hayes.
