Reference Trotter: I posted a little information for him on December 9 2010 and have copied it below:
"W
ork record for Milton E Trotter indicates he began D&RGW service as a telegrapher during 1924 at Antonito.
Through the years he worked at many various locations including:
Pagosa Jct from August 1929 through March 1932
Chama from April 1937 through June 1953
Durango October 1954 through May 1955
I do not have information subsequent to May 1955 at hand.
(Edit) Telegrapher seniority roster dated January 1, 1966 shows
M E Trotter in service"
Amos Cordova worked at Durango during various times but did not have a lasting permanent assignment there until some time during the 1970s.
During the Silverton season an additional position at Durango would be bulletined on an temporary basis to handle ticket sales.
Amos had a permanent assignment at other locations but would always bid on this temporary position. A lot of overtime was involved.
Due to my recent move the material I have for this subject, including seniority rosters, is still packed away.
