Frank; The Antonito stock pens were on dual gauge track and having the chutes on the Draw leg made
the gap from the chute to the stock car about the same for Std and NG cars. I'm not sure just what
kind of dock plate was used but knowing how cattle are prone to get a leg in anykind of gap,
I'm sure they were used.
A lot of the cattle from NG country were transferred to Std. gauge cars for shipment to final destination.
There was a very informative thread with excellent pictures on this subject a few months back either here or on the Goat. Maybe some kind soul can help with the data to find that thread.
