Hi Chris,
After doing some research and photo comparison. I believe that you have the mill in the wrong location. The photo you have shown is the Gato/Pagosa Junction mill of the Pagosa Lumber Co. before its first fire and subsequent relocation. You can tell that it is Gato by the hills around the mill and in my comparison shot as well. The mill is located just north of the San Juan Mainline at the end of the wye to the west of the station area.
We have witnessed valley
and plain and crest,
Canon and pass we've scanned;
We have seen the best
of the glorious West,
by the trail of the Rio Grande
