F&W #14 Soon to be in steam!!

After weeks and weeks of work that has been kept on the down low, we are very happy to announce that our 1913 Baldwin 2-8-0 #14 will be pulling next saturday, November 28ths special Santa Train run to the Montalvo Metrolink station and making various stops on our way back picking up toy donations for toys for tots. We've come a LONG ways. As of yesterday she passed her FRA hydro test and we've proceeded on with additional reassembly and we will have a fire in her within the next few days! After that our plan is to make sure any issues are taken care of and get a test run or two in before her Saturday debut. If you're around or have time i'd highly recommend coming out to watch this former Duluth & Northeastern brute strut her stuff as we celebrate her return! We are all very proud of what we've accomplished and everything is set up in place to give the engine a good, long lasting life on the orange tree filled groves of the Fillmore & Western!
