One of the things you may want to watch is the descriptive level with the different books. I find the old SP train handling books that I have from 1938 and 1944 are easy to read while some of the newer books are more challenging to read. This may be due to the anticipated education base of most of the intended audience. Enjoy the books they can provide great insight into train operations, especialy for the PRR.
