Wow,
I don't look at the board for a few days and you guys manage to solve the mystery! Thanks everyone! If i have read everything right, D&RGW 1282 and 1826 are in Boulder and 1488 is in South Fork.
I am sad to reprt that 1282 is in an advanced state ofdeay and wil be dismantled for parts, its brake system and any other needed parts going to D&RGW caboose 04990, which is displayed in Boulder. We plan to redeck the remains of 1826's feame and use it as our track material storage platform, so the car will not die entirely. 1826 is in much better shape and may yet be a pipe gondola again.
