Re: San Christobal Goose

Talked to the Goose experts at the musuem, today. The RGS built the SC goose apparently after they built Goose #1 It was delievered but never paid for. Anyway RGS ended up with it back. Since #1 was in effect a test vehicle, Numerous design defects soon became apparent. #1 and the San Christobal Goose were dismantled and rebuilt into Goose #2. The gas tank refered to in another post has been replaced altho a San Christobal marking is still on #2 but I'm not sure exactly where. Of the 7 Geese built for the RGS only #1 was scrapped. the other 6 are still around and only one of those is not operating. A remarkable preservation record! Keith
