I've been working 20+ years on researching the history of White Pass and other western narrow gauge railroad cars to trace the migrations of narrow gauge passenger cars. Other principal railroads are C&C, SP, and NCO with side trips to the SPC, NPC, and other lines in Nevada, California, Oregon, and Arizona.
Over the years, there have been strange ideas presented about the comings and goings of some cars. Some of the wrong ideas have been taken as fact simply because they got into print.
