Here in Cincinnati we often speculated that the TC&SL could have loaded a car for shipment on the New Richmond, OH. branch of the Cincinnati and Eastern (N&W) Peavine to Portsmouth, OH. then to Cincinnati, onto the Cincinnati, Lebanon & Northern which was part of the TC&STL. Then connections in Dayton to Delphos, OH. and onto East St. Louis, IL. Would a car be interchanged across the Mississippi River?

There had to be a lot of used equipment on the market in 1884-1886 with the breakup of the system and conversion to standard gauge. However few pieces have survived?
