One of my greatest experiences was to talk for hours, and hours to Frank Wright who was the fireman on that run. Frank was the fireman on the last run of 456 out of Montrose and was engineer on the last D&RGW run of 268 in 1954. Frank wrote a long article about these last runs and this will be included in an article I am doing on 268 that will be in the fall issue of the Prospector.
