Rich,
Lovley weather here in Colorado! I hear that down south is much worse than here in Niwot (we got a little over 18" of snow) Anway, if you get a chance, I would be interested to know what type of bolsters the South Fork car has as well as how many stakes it had on ach side. Maybe if your lucky, its number will be stencilled on one of the truck bolsters! If these are the cars from Hill City, my guess is that the South Fork car will turn out to be #1488.
