I do think it would be interesting to expand these links with ground level photos of how they look now, along with some historical photos (where available).
I'm a big fan of contemplating what went on in a place. That's why the Gato photos that got published here a few weeks ago were cool. You can look at them and see the echos of times past.
It's kinda like driving to Sublette, and just sitting down on the porch and dreaming about being there "back when". There's that photo of Sublette that shows folks off the train, with women and children and that fellow in the suit with a neat hat and cigar... what book is that in? Maybe Dorman?
Ah well, I guess we make our own echos now...
