Obviously people's homes and business take priority over the museum, but from an amateur historians point of view the loss of the museum and it's contents would be a blow. The Cornet Fire which has been burning east of the Sumpter Valley per Jim Grigsby has likely consumed some of the area on Black Mtn. where Stoddard Lbr. Co. grades and artifacts are found. The dead end trestle might be in that area. This was a short trestle that extended the tail track for a switchback.
