Thanks for the photos. As crew on No. 4, I got very few pictures.
This was the first time No. 4 had run north from Durango, and indeed possibly its first time in Durango since 1949 (or so).
There are no plans in the foreseeable future to run No. 4 again, so this may be its only visit to Silverton. All six No. 4 motormen ran the Goose, if briefly, while turning on the wye and positioning for the morning run.
I was wondering where the popcar gang was running. I'm glad their gaggle seemed to go well.
