Hi,
I did not know about the dirigible hangers but it reminded my of the photos of the US military railroad (rattlesnake in the name?) that has dual flanged rails crossing railroad rails in Nevada for the atomic? space engine testing.
I think the hangers are a very reasonable possibility. When they let me out of the box I can get waaaaaaaay out.
