The film, shot in the Summer of 1953 (Pentrex video released in 2010 I believe) features operations from Salida to Sapinero including the Monarch Branch. You begin in Salida with views of the engine servicing facilities and the 20 stall roundhouse. Engine 278 pulls a freight with flanger OV and C-16 268 (in Worlds Fair paint) switches the yard in Gunnison. The 268 then takes her train to Sapinero to switch the saw mill. There's also a great pacing shot of 497 running light westbound. There are views of the snow sheds at Marshall Pass with a couple of 490s running through them.
Monarch Branch trains feature K-36s 482, 485, 486 and 489. There are good views of the switchbacks and loading tipple. The final sequence shows the barrel transfer at Salida.
