The sun happened to be low in the sky when I got around to taking the photo. I didn't want to get my shop track too dirty so I didn't go for the full recreation smiling smiley.

Casey the gauge is 3.5". The wheels are castings that I machined and the axles, cranks and bearings are all machined from bar stock. I'm working from the plans in Live Steam by by Kozo. The main driver set weighs in at about 3.5 lbs. The k-27 will be almost 6' in length when completed. At the rate I'm going it will take a few years.
