Crew shot at Sumpter a couple years back-I like the human side of railroading both in historic shots and in some of the later day ones.
May be a little vain on my part as I am in the engineer seat. Paul Van Ness standing in the door way was actual engineer, and I was his fireman. Likely I was training in the RH seat. Paul and I were paired a lot in the cab for a couple summers. Sure enjoyed working with him! Not sure who took the photo.
Nice shot from fall photo special 2006. Again not sure who's photo as folks seem to share their shots around after a photo weekend, and sometimes who took what seems to get lost. I expect there will be some new shots showing up of her steamed up this weekend!
