There’s a posting on NGDF that publicly calls a person out, letting them know they are banned from CRRM? That’s wrong. That’s despicable. It’s ugly and takes away from the delicate balance of preserving the future of CRRM. This person’s sincere passion for CRRM provided countless volunteer hours that should be appreciated – not publicly insulted. I may not like how something is at CRRM, but I get over it because it’s not up to me. It’s really not up to any individual, no matter the ego or the self-imposed title. Things that bother me at CRRM, in my strongest of feelings, deserve to be rectified because they are historically significant.

Jason's posting makes comments about a situation that could have a more favorable outcome if equipment is donated rather than destroyed. It's not right nor necessary to degrade each other online.

I posted the pictures of Stuhr to show that 1423 isn’t the only scrapping victim of recent years.

I posted the pictures from 30 years ago to show that there’s a lot of effort in the past 30 years by a lot of volunteers. I personally appreciate that. What some of those volunteers have done don’t match my personal view, but it’s not my place nor anybody else’s to publicly disrespect or insult them. Unkind words and disrespect within a collective group that is no longer growing in numbers is like a nasty virus that will eat away at our pastime faster than the elements of mother- nature on the center-sill of 1423.
