Conductor E.J. (Edward Joseph) Hurley didn't have enough seniority to be one of the regular Chili Line conductors. Hurley (10-12-1880=8-24-1951) had 35 years in the train service when he got this assignment.
Regular Chili Line conductors James Pheney and Henry Willis had about 10 years more seniority than Hurley.
Work train conductor F.J. Massey came in about four years after Hurley in 1905.
Engineer Coughlin was born in 1877 and died in 1950.
